  • Mailwrap Polywrapper

The Standard KAS Mailwrap is a comprehensive polywrapping system offering flexibility, durability and ease of setup. The Mailwrap can wrap up to 22 mm (.87”) thickness at speeds of up to 6,000 completed packs per hour. It combines unique design features with proven technology. Operator control is simplified through a touch screen control console. This enables station selection, speed and heat settings. There is a re-settable counter, and the screen displays the current speed, heat settings, error location and further run information. Heat settings are preset for a given throughput but can be adjusted by the operator to suit the thickness of the film. The insert stations can handle a wide variety of documentation including single sheets, cards, reply envelopes, pre-folded items, CD’s and books. It is possible to pre-select the number of items fed from each insert station on each cycle and have the feed switch automatically from one station to another when a feeder runs low. Each feeder can handle thicknesses from a single sheet to books up to 10 mm (.39”) thick. A choice of reading technology is available - 1D or 2D barcode, OMR or OCR can be used to match multiple documents fed from a single feeder or documents from fed from different feeders.
