  • HT-80 Three-knife Trimmer

    The Standard Horizon HT-80 Three-knife Trimmer is designed for operation in-line with the Standard Horizon BQ-470, SB-07, and SB-09S perfect binders, or for use off-line. The HT-80 includes advanced set-up automation through a user-friendly 10.4” color touch-screen control panel to meet the requirements of the short run print-on-demand book market. After inputting the untrimmed and finished trim book sizes, automated adjustments include the infeed, jogging, and knife sections. The HT-80 allows for trimming of variable thickness books, one after another, for true on demand book production. It can trim finished books from sizes ranging 5.5” x 3.9” up to 13.4” x 11.8”, with programmable memory for up to 200 different jobs, for instant recall of frequently-run jobs. Precision stepper motors accurately position all guides and clamps to insure professional quality cutting at speeds up to 1,000 cycles per hour. A uniquely designed servo-motor controlled jogging mechanism helps provide accurate book registration. The swing knife movement ensures sharp and accurate trims to produce a clean finished book, and a silicon spray unit is available to keep the knife clean during operation.

    • HT-1000V Variable Three-knife Trimmer

    The new Standard Horizon HT-1000V Variable Three-knife Trimmer achieves true on demand book production of variable sizes. The trimmer operates in-line with Horizon perfect binders or off-line to deliver a wide range of input and output sizes for completely variable production! Setup and variable trimming are achieved automatically by reading a barcode printed on the cover sheet of each book at the entrance of the trimmer, with no operator input required. The system trims up to 1000 books of variable thickness and format size per hour and will accept a broad range of input sizes and deliver trimmed books from 5.7" x 4.05" up to 13.38" x 11.69". The heavy duty construction allows the trimmer to be run in a 24/7 production environment with consistent high quality finishing. A uniquely designed, automated trim removal system ensures consistent running without jamming. The system can also trim stacked books of the same untrimmed size and finished format at the same time, up to 2.55" in height, for high productivity when variable trimming is not required. For same size production runs, the trimmer can be set up offline via the touch screen by inputting the desired untrimmed and finished size.

  • HT-110 Three-knife Trimmer

    The Standard Horizon HT-110 is an automated three-knife trimmer, with a user-friendly 10.4" color touch-screen control console. The large color LCD screen provides for simple and easy operation - all necessary settings can be performed through the icon-based touchscreen. The HT-110 can run at speeds up to 1,600 cycles per hour, and by accumulating up to 4 books, production of up to 6,000 books per hour can be achieved. For off-line or in-line operation.

  • HT-30C Three-side Trimmer

    The HT-30C Three-side Trimmer features automated job set-ups and quick changeovers to meet the requirements of the short run print-on-demand book market. The HT-30C operates off-line to trim perfect bound books at speeds up to 200 cycles per hour. A color touch screen allows all set-ups to be performed with full automation. Precision stepper motors accurately position all guides and clamps to insure professional quality cutting. Up to 12 inches of books can be loaded into the in-feed hopper, where books are automatically fed for unattended operation. The HT-30C features automated job set-ups and quick changeovers, with the ability to store up to 40 different book jobs in memory.
